Cornelius Bundrage v Ishe Smith

Posted: February 24, 2013 in Uncategorized

This is a close fight in the market unsurprisingly. Both have been inconsistent at times with fitness and performance so I’m not prepared to try and pick a winner on that basis. Instead I’m going to have a go with small stakes on rounds bets. I think if one of them does turn up a little jaded tonight a KO is certainly possible with these guys.

Bets:

Cornelius Bundrage Round 5/6/7 pay 40/1, 33/1, 33/1

Ishe Smith Round 2/3/4 pay 40/1, 40/1, 33/1

David Price v Tony Thompson

Posted: February 23, 2013 in Uncategorized

The first real chance for David Price to show what level he is at. Thompson in his last bout went 6 rounds before being stopped by Wladimir Klitschko…I think Price will stop him much sooner than this.

For two reason really; Thompson doesn’t look in as good a shape as he was againt Wladimir and Wladimir was very cautious for the early rounds, he didn’t really ask Thompson many questions.

I don’t think Price will be so tentative and can despatch Thompson inside 2 rounds and send a message to the Klitschkos!

David Price Round 2 @13/2 youwin

Outright Bets:

Martin Rogan @9/1 bet365 ~ Even at 41 years of age I think he has enough in the tank for one last hurrah, he’s an aggressive fighter and I don’t think the quality is high in this prizefighter. He can win on guts alone.

Ian Lewison @8/1 betfred ~ Has to be the least exposed fighter in this, trained by Dereck Chisora’s trainer, Don Charles. They are actually similar in size and aggression, could be suited for this format. Looks to have a good chin, so despite lack of experience should not be flattened.

Individual Fight Bets:

Audley Harrison v Claus Bertino

Bertino really is nothing special, but I just can’t believe Audley can improve enough to beat ANYONE right now; he looked completely shot against David Price.

Bertino Round 1 @33/1 ladbrokes

Bertino Round 2 @28/1 ladbrokes

Bertino Round 3 @28/1 boylesports

Ian Lewison v Timo Hoffman

Ian Lewison by Decision or Technical Decision @5/1 sportingbet

Martin Rogan v Albert Sosnowski

Martin Rogan by Decision or Technical Decision @11/4 bet365

Travis Walker v Derric Rossy

I think Walker could bang Rossey out early here, or he could tire himself out and get caught in rounds 2 or 3. Worth the risk at the prices.

Travis Walker Round 1 @6/1 skybet

Derric Rossey Round 2 @33/1 ladbrokes

Derric Rossey Round 3 @28/1 ladbrokes
